Night to Night

Night to Night by David Newkirk, W9BRD .

This poem resonates with me, particularly in these retirement years when, from night to night, I spend my time reading classic papers, simulating classic circuits, and composing slides to record the results.

See David's Enjoying Radio page with a collection of interesting bits.

I eventually realized Newkirk wrote the December 1993 QST review for my first ham rig, the Ten-Tec Scout Model 555.

Newkirk coauthored with Ulrich Rohde ( N1UL) the first edition of the book RF/Microwave Design for Wireless Applications (2000).

I found it in our local university library, and it is chock-full of more circuits begging for simulation,

night to night.
